The West Kendall Dolphins 90 Pound Team Are The “Miami Dolphins Team of The Week!”

By Jonah Woullard

This past Friday night, the West Kendall Dolphins 90 pound team was selected as the “Miami Dolphins Team of The Week.” The West Kendall Dolphins felt right at home in Sun Life Stadium with the Dolphins’ logo on the field and score board. West Kendall Dolphins were ready to tell the Dolphin pro team to step aside and let our 90 pound team show you how it’s done.

The West Kendall Dolphins 90 pound team, coaches, and cheerleaders took the field by storm Friday night at Sun Life Stadium, as they ran through the smoke and the very tunnel the Miami Dolphins run through every Sunday before kickoff.

At halftime, the West Kendall Dolphins took on the various mascots of different teams, such as Sebastian from the Miami Hurricanes, T.D. from the Miami Dolphins, and Cowboy Joe from the Dallas Cowboys, just to name a few. And yes, this was a full contact game of tackle football.

Head coach of the West Kendall Dolphins, Jason Rosenfeld said, “Our kids loved every second of the entire experience. Playing on the Miami Dolphins home field, running through the tunnel, is something our kids could have only dreamed about.” Coach also said, “This comes with perfect timing, as we are dedicating our season to our head coach, Tony Cordero, who passed away earlier this year. This is a special moment for our team, and I’m sure a special moment for our coach, who I know would be proud of his kids.”

On behalf of Generation Nexxt, we would like to congratulate the West Kendall Dolphins 90 pound team for being the Miami Dolphins Team of The Week!
