Generation Nexxt Impact Player Spotlight

Generation Nexxt Impact Player Spotlight:

Jordan Merrill #0

As we quickly approach the 2012 playoffs, Generation Nexxt will be spotlighting some of youth football’s impact players. This week we highlight one of the Florida Youth Football League’s top players.

Jordan Merrill #0 of the Ft. Lauderdale Hurricanes 155’s, is a threat at just about every skill position on the football field. Jordan has led the Hurricanes to an undefeated season thus far with signature wins over the Miami Gardens Vikings, Broward Eagles, Broward Panthers, & the Miami Gardens Ravens.

Jordan has scored from the running back position, wide receiver position, and punt & kickoff return this season. His strength, speed and vision have given him the tools to set himself into the upper echelon of skilled players.

Jordan’s coaches all agree that it’s truly his work ethic that sets the tone for his dynamic play on game day. Hurricanes head coach, Brandon Bivens said, “What you see on Saturdays is what this kid does all week in practice.”

Jordan was just recently selected by Generation Nexxt & the Miami Dolphins as the Miami Dolphins Youth Player of the Week, where he was recognized pre-game at Sunlife Stadium.

Keep your eyes on Jordan to lead the Hurricanes into the FYFL playoffs and potentially to the Youth Football State Championship Series presented by the Miami Dolphins & Generation Nexxt.
