GENERATION NEXXT IMPACT PLAYER SPOTLIGHT:DARREN DAVIS

Darren Davis #6 the dynamic 13 year old running back for the West Kendall Dolphins has been recognized as one of the top running backs in the Miami Xtreme Youth Football League. Thus far, Darren has lead the Dolphins to a 9-0 season heading in the playoffs as a number one season in the 13U (130LB.) conference.

Darren has been setting the bar high, with a total of 28 touchdowns and 1138 yards rushing from scrimmage in nine games. Now, if the name Darren Davis and these types of stats sound familiar to you, well it is not by coincidence.

Darren is the son of All-American, Dade County running back from South Ridge High School, DarrenDavis, and nephew of Troy Davis who was awarded 1993, Florida High School Player of the Year, and former New Orleans Saints running back, known as the “Davis Brothers”. So you can easily see that this talent RUNS in the family.

Darren’s coaches say, “He is a mentally tough, very explosive and always looks to lead by what he can do on the field.” Keep your eye on the Dolphins as they make a run for the title, and keep your eye on #6, the Davis name looks like it is about to make a comeback in Dade County.
